Wordless Writing II
Using the Processing program, I constructed a second version of the Wordless Writing Circles. This version allows the user to convert their own text into triangular forms which are created in front of their eyes. The end result is also a simple but striking circular form. In this example, I created those cirlces from the color palettes of the filmic œuvre of these four filmmakers.
In this updated version of my data visualisation, each shape represents a word, which can easily be identified by its colour.
I created several versions of this project, basing my colour scale on movie palettes and the choice of text on the film’s dialogue.
Here are some sketches of the earlier versions of the program.
